Terms & Conditions
We don’t like writing Terms and Conditions… and we know you don’t like reading them either – but they are here for a reason and that’s to protect both you and UHUNGRY?.

BOOKINGS, CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & FLEXIBILITY
Booking your preferred date:
All bookings are subject to the availability. We will always try our best to give you your first choice of date, but cannot guarantee that it will always be possible. Please book as far in advance as possible to increase the chances of being able to book your first choice. Booking your preferred date will only be secured once payment has been received and funds cleared.
Cancelling your booking, changing the date or changing the location:
Once you have booked a date with UHUNGRY?, if you need to re-schedule or cancel, we will always do our best to help. If you confirm your cancellation at least 14 days before the date booked, you will receive a full refund, minus a 20% of the invoiced amount for our administration charge.
If you request a change of date or location at least 10 days before the date you originally booked, we will try to meet your new requirements, subject to the availability.
We regret that we cannot offer any refund if you cancel less than 14 days in advance of the booked appointment. In some instances, we may be able to change the date (as long as the date, time, menu and number of people remain the same), subject to the availability, but this is not guaranteed.
Very rarely there may be a delay in the arrival of the UHUNGRY? team, or we may need to cancel your booking for reasons beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, sudden illness, unavailability or breakdown of transport or equipment. We will do our best to notify you as soon as possible and arrange accommodations, however, in the event that we must cancel, we will offer an alternative date. Should this not be possible, you will receive a full refund. We regret that, in these circumstances, we are unable to reimburse travel, accommodation or any other expense that you or your guests may incur in relation to the cancelled booking.
Changing the number of people attending your experience:
On booking, we will ask how many people will be in attendance.
If you would like to reduce the number of guests attending your event, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. We regret that we are unable to offer any refund.
If you would like to increase the number of guests attending your event, as long as you notify us more than 48 hours in advance of your appointment, we will arrange for enough ingredients to cover this. There will be an additional charge per person which will be discussed with you and which must be paid prior to the booking of the appointment.
BOOKING YOUR DINING EXPERIENCE
Please choose your order carefully and ensure you have read, asked any relevant questions regarding taste, texture or ingredients and understood the description of the dishes carefully. You can request a full description of proposed ingredients in each dish prior to ordering, please do so by email. By confirming your order you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the description and concluding information concerning the dishes and accept responsibility for choosing the goods ordered.
The UHUNGRY? Team makes every effort to prepare food to your personal tastes, we cannot be held responsible for any goods that are not to your liking and such goods cannot be returned, swapped for alternative dishes or costs refunded. UHUNGRY? makes no warranties to the accuracy of taste and cannot be held responsible for flavor of fresh ingredients or any subsequent cooked food.
By confirming your order you acknowledge and accept that your food is made specifically for you from fresh ingredients and other ingredients and therefore cannot be reproduced to exact flavor, color, texture, taste or quantity and thus variations of these factors will occur in home cooked food. Food cannot be returned, swapped for alternative dishes or costs refunded.
UHUNGRY? reserves the right to substitute to a comparable and suitable ingredient. If you do not wish for substitutes to be made please state this via email 48 hours prior to booking, please note that if you choose not to have substituted ingredients and an ingredient is unavailable that dish cannot be made and no refund for service will be given.
Before the UHUNGRY? team prepares food for your booking, we ask that you notify us of any food preference, dietary requirements, allergies and kitchen equipment available. It is you, the clients responsibility to provide accurate, complete and updated information as required to provide food to your tastes and requirements. UHUNGRY? does not accept any responsibility or makes any warranties for clients not disclosing any valid information.
In the highly unlikely event that the food is unfit for consumption by fault of the UHUNGRY? Team you must inform UHUNGRY? in writing immediately. The food declared by client unfit for consumption can be returned to and tested by the UHUNGRY? Team and if found to be unfit for consumption the cost of ingredients of the spoiled food will be refunded at the discretion of UHUNGRY?. UHUNGRY? will not refund the cost of any food returned to be tested that is deemed not to be spoiled.
EXCLUSIONS
Drinks are not included in any UHUNGRY? Booking unless specifically specified in booking. Occasionally we may be able to source drinks for you. Please contact us to discuss this prior to booking.
PAYMENT
All bookings must be fully paid for in advance.
This is usually done via direct bank transfer/ online banking; all details required for this are shown at the bottom of your invoice.
Tips/gratuities are not included in the cost of the UHUNGRY? Team services are left to your discretion; if you would like to show your appreciation of your Chef and their work please feel free to do so to them directly.
LIABILITY
We hold public liability insurance which covers you for personal injury and damage to your property for up to a value of $1 million. We also hold product liability insurance up to a value of $1 million.
For your safety, please inform us in advance of the booking if you have any dietary requirements, are pregnant, have diabetes, epilepsy or an allergy to something, or if you think there is something else that the chef should be aware of.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES TO THE UHUNGRY? TEAM
Before the chef’s arrival your kitchen/event space should be clean with a clear work surface to a reasonable degree. On arrival, we may ask you must show the chef/UHUNGRY? Team how your kitchen equipment works, including turning on any electrical appliances. Depending on your booking type, you should show the UHUNGRY? Team what equipment may be used, including pots, pans, electrical equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware (if necessary), removing it from high cupboards. Any faulty equipment should be removed from the kitchen/event space prior to your event. If hosting your event not your own, please let us know in advance and we will coordinate accordingly.
We will not tolerate any violent, threatening behavior, physical aggression or verbal abuse to any of the UHUNGRY? team. If this happens our team will vacate the property immediately and the booking will not continue. No refund will be issued and legal proceedings will be issued against you.
KITCHEN EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
You must have at least a minimum level of equipment in your kitchen/event space. We will check what equipment you have on booking and discuss any potential issues.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of UHUNGRY? for personal injury or death caused by its negligence.
By means of your order you are agreeing with these General Business Terms and Conditions. UHUNGRY? reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice.
UHUNGRY? in its sole discretion, reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, with or without cause or reason. UHUNGRY? reserves the right to add, delete or change fees or charges at any time upon notice as provided in this Contract.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and any disputes will be decided only by the United States Court of Law.
